A Better Joy?

December 31, 2007

I think there is little else more joyful than the prospect of seeing friends again after awhile.
In any case, being around good company is the best joy of all.

Catching Up

December 28, 2007

I’ve been catching up with childhood friends recently. I’m slowly but surely moving back into the life I had before. However, this is really just for the holidays. I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to keep in touch when I’m not at home.
But…it’s a really nice feeling when you get to talk with [...]

December 27, 2007

This I wanna see! My main man Denzel is in it! (Glad to see is still very active…American Gangster I also saw recently…)

Staying With Parents is Not Fun, But…

December 27, 2007

That is, although it’s possible to laugh and joke, it’s not the same fun as one could have if one went to a bar with a group of friends. Not that going to a bar is the most fun for me, but that’s the idea.
Actually, after sailing the tougher waters of life for a few [...]

Hurt

December 18, 2007

I was pretty busy these past few months and didn’t really have time to experience a few emotions for awhile.

December 15, 2007

This is my first political post, ever, in the history of the universe.
Let it be known that my knowledge of politics is below nil, and any analysis I make will be from what I know about politics. With that said, let me begin my fruitful discussion on the presidential hopefuls for the 2008 election.
When I [...]

Religious Groups’ Outrage at “The Golden Compass”

December 9, 2007

I haven’t seen this movie or read the book. I haven’t read any of the thoughts coming from the “religious groups.”
But to the outragers I say, “Give it a rest.”
Suppose all the comments from the “outrage” were correct. Can we not co-exist peacefully with people that have different beliefs than us? And even if the [...]

Bless Me!

December 4, 2007

International students from China/Taiwan get a blast out of people sneezing because they get to hear people say “bless you.” So they eagerly wait for the next time someone sneezes so they can get a chance to say it.
And the funniest/cutest part is that when they themselves sneeze, they say “bless me.”

Roommate Move Out

December 1, 2007

Today one of my roommates moved out. When I first moved in, she indirectly helped make my new home feel more like home because every night before I went to bed, she’d always be in the living room watching TV. It gave me a chance to say “Good Night” to someone before I slept.
And just [...]
